The First Baptist Church of Hudson, NH is sponsoring a “Trunk or Treat” night on Friday, October 31*. Members of the church will gather and park their cars in the church parking lot, open their trunks, or the backs of their vehicles, decorate them, and then pass out candy from their trunks to all the little trick or treaters. The goal of this event is to provide a safe, family environment for the children of Hudson.
Suggested themes for trunk decorations include: Luau, Harvest, Sports, Nascar Racing, Sesame Street, Disney, a favorite movie, Western, Camping Out, a Favorite Holiday or Jungle theme. We’ve asked that participants not use scary items, like blood, bats, witches, spiders, monsters, or gore.
This is a great opportunity for the community to get to know our church.
We will be serving free hot dogs, apple cider, hot cocoa and chips. This will be a great chance for people in our neighborhood to linger and talk with our Pastor and members. If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer to help, please get in touch with Deb Lavoie, Jan Russell or Bruce and Terry Mostrom.
Please join in on the fun and don’t forget to invite your family, friends and neighbors!
*The hours of our Trunk or Treat will follow the town of Hudson’s posted trick or treat hours.
