We read our church covenant near the end of our communion service each month.

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of GOD to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of GOD and one another, most joyfully renew the covenant which Jesus Christ sealed with His church in His death. Having received from Him the assurance of life and peace with GOD, we engage by the aid of the Holy Spirit:

• to worship GOD in spirit and truth,
• to walk together in Christian love,
• to work together as servants of our common Lord,
• to witness by our daily life to the glorious Gospel.

We will contribute regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel to all nations.

We promise that if we move from this place, we will unite with another Christian congregation, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant, and the principles of GOD’s word.

We pledge ourselves to aid each other in sickness, to maintain family and secret devotion, and to love one another as Christ has loved us.

And may the mind that was and is in Christ Jesus be in us also, enabling us to know the truth, and to do the will of GOD, and to abide in His peace. AMEN.
