Please come and join us for worship at First Baptist Church of Hudson to learn a few lessons from the Thessalonian church.

This was a church that had an amazing impact on its community and region in spite of incredible odds. When the great apostle came to town with the good news, they made a radical commitment of their lives to Christ. But a group of local dissidents complained bitterly to the local authority that “These people who have been turning the world upside down have also come here“–forcing St. Paul to leave the town. However, the church at Thessalonica was able to overcome any challenge. We see in this church a wonderful picture of what a healthy, vital growing, vibrant church can be.

We will read 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10, to learn from the church at Thessalonica how we can become a highly effective church.

Our worship starts at 10:30am. We also have Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 a.m.
