Who is wise and understanding among you?

Worship on the Fourth Sunday of Lent
As human beings, we often try to find the center of things.
- What is the center of an atom?
- What is the center of our solar system?
- What is the center of the earth?
- What is the geographic center of the United States?
- What is the geographic center of New Hampshire?
What is the center of Christianity? We all know the answer. Jesus Christ.
What does God want from us? We all know: FAITH in Jesus Christ.
Christ and faith in Jesus Christ is the center of Christianity.
Please come and worship with us at First Baptist Church of Hudson as we try to learn how we can make FAITH in Jesus Christ the center of our Christian journey.
Read Romans 4:18-25:
18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead– since he was about a hundred years old– and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” 23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness– for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Before the worship, the Adult Class will meet at 9:15 to continue our Lent Study series on the chapter, “Give Up Running Away from Lent.” Please read Luke 9:10-17 for this class.

He always lives to intercede for them
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Worship on Sunday, March 8
Please come and join our worship at First Baptist Church of Hudson on Sunday. We will be installing and dedicating all the committed and faithful leaders—who serve in different ministries at our church. Based on 1 Timothy 1:12-17—we will be learning about how God has appointed each one of us to serve.
Please read: 1 Timothy 1:12-17
12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners– of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Before the worship, the Adult class with continue with our Lenten study based on James Moore’s book, Give Up Something Bad for Lent. The discussion for tomorrow’s class is Chapter 3: “Give Up the Enemies Within for Lent.” Please read Luke 11:37-52 for this class.
